We have wanted to create a website for some time, now, but we had some very
specific qualifications for that site. First, it had to be easy to
maintain. I, personally, tried to teach myself how to use FrontPage, and be
the webmaster of the site. I quickly learned that even if I did master
FrontPage, I would end up spending WAY too much time maintaining our site,
and I would probably be the only one to do it. Believe me, there are MANY
more important things for a pastor to be doing with his time. So, because
of that experience, we decided that we needed to find a way to have several
administrators for a website. We tried another provider, (one that my
denomination endorses and recommends) and soon found ourselves over our head
once again. We paid for two months of service with them before canceling,
and never once got our site "online." Third, it had to be fairly
inexpensive. We're a church that doesn't have a huge budget for our web
ministry -- as is the case with many churches, I'm sure. We had other
qualifications, such as a having a site that changes daily, is highly
interactive, and keeps people coming back day after day. Where are we going
to find a site like that? Get real, right?
Well, just as we about ready to give up, along comes ThisChurch.org. Wow.
Talk about a blessing of God. We had our site online within a week. I have
5 people now that are administrating the site -- and they can't believe how
easy it is. My brother, who works in internet technology out in Southern
California, said our site was "awesome" -- and it's not even totally
complete yet! And (my board loves this) it's a HIGH quality website for a
VERY reasonable price. I could honestly go on for days!
If, by chance, you're an "Assembly of God" church, you NEED to go with

I was so excited when I saw what ThisChurch.org could do for our church. What caught my attention was the way I could see a demo of our church website, without any obligation, in a matter of seconds... that's right... seconds! I thought, "Wow, our church on the internet, just like that!". I had just mentioned to our pastor the night before, how I was going to research what's out there for church websites. I told him it would probably be a couple weeks or so. Well, he was suprised when I called him the next morning to show him the demo of our church's website.

the startup of the web site, I was disappointed with the results. Quite by

ThisChurch.org. Its basic features alone exceeded everything I had on the original web
site, ranging from news, forums, front page modules, freeform pages, media

Josh allowed me to "test drive" the new site for a time and, although I had

help our church. Our web-site has been one of the best investments that we
have ever made for our church. It is one of the few things that a church can do
that reaches the current members, previous members that have moved away or
just stopped attending services, and those that are searching for a church. Being
a smaller church, we don't have a huge advertising budget. Through our site
we have had people from our area find us on the internet that didn't know we
were in their own town. We have also had those from other states that were
"shopping" for a church find us through various searches.
I could ramble on but let me say this and I will close. If a person with as
little talent as I have when it comes to "computer things" can do this,

I am delighted with our website and the support received from over
the past two years. Josh always responded the same day to my emails for help and
always helped me when I couldn't figure what to do. What I like most about the
website is that it is EASY to use. I can do everything myself whenever I want,
rather than depend on programmers and webmasters to add news items, photographs,
groups, links to other places on the Internet, or other modifications. Prior to
ThisChurch, our church had little hope of having a website or presence on the
Web. Now we can mention the site on all communications, including the newsletter
and Sunday bulletin. It is astounding that we can reach people all over the
world. I have nothing but praise for ThisChurch.
We do not need to sacrifice quality!

ThisChurch.org has provided a terrific platform for our church website. Recurring and one-time calendar events, and news stores are very quick to add and edit. Inexperienced users are easily trained to work on the site because of the simple
and straightforward controls and web-based interface. Technical support is via e-mail which provides for clear (re-readable) instructions and at a low cost which is very important to our church! It is a wonderful blessing to us that we do not need to sacrifice the quality of the website and support to get a great price!

As someone who has been an information technology consultant for 15 years I appreciate the combination of ease of use and flexibility offered by ThisChurch. The wide selection of modules available and highly customizable presentation really makes this service a good value. I had considered programming a site myself but when I saw what ThisChurch had to offer I signed up that same day. We have never been disappointed in the technology or the service offered. Support emails are helpful and answered very promptly, many times within minutes of being sent. I like being able to delegate certain parts of the site to other members to administer so everything doesn't have to go through a site administrator. I highly recommend ThisChurch if you want a very dynamic, interactive and usable church web site.

We have now been using the site for about six months now, and everyone
is very pleased with the way we have been able to set up the site. In
particular, even those with very little computer experience are now
confident enough to contribute to the Calendar events and the other
pages. The Youth group love the 'chat wall', and the Asian Outreach
group love the photographs of the ministry in India. We have made
contact with someone who lives in Nashville, Tenesee, who is shortly
moving to Coventry, (UK), and have also had some lovely compliments from
an Elim pastor in Hamilton New Zealand. You really do provide a great
service! I don't know whether there are any other users in the UK, but
it's really worth a try!

I have appreciated this website format very much. There are a few things I can't do, but they are minor and not important, compared to the ease of using the format!! I get TERRIFIC tech support anytime I need it....very fast and useful. For the price we think it's a great value.
