Audio and video files uploaded to your Media Manager can now be added directly to your site's front page. When adding a new module in the "Front-Page Layout" item of your "Layout" menu, you'll see your uploads in the "Files & Media" section. The player will adjust to the column width and your user's browser, if needed.
